Drew Dutton is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, and an Advanced Certified Prevention Specialist. Drew has worked in the clinical field serving individuals, families, and groups since 2011. Drew has extensive experience with adolescent and family counseling, substance use and addictions, as well as other mental health and wellbeing issues. Drew has experience in treating patients and families through a variety of clinical approaches and modalities. As a therapist, Drew likes to work from a solution focused counseling style, utilizing a strengths-based approach, and positive psychology principles. Drew has experience and advanced training with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Family Systems, Reality Therapy, Existential Counseling, Person-Centered approaches, and Trauma Informed Care.
As a supervisor, Drew has been providing clinical supervision to Master’s level clinicians since 2013. Drew has supervised and overseen multiple practicum programs, clinical staff and departments, outpatient, and residential treatment centers, and has provided national consultation and trainings to a variety of organizations and universities. Drew serves as an adjunct professor of addictions counseling at Texas Christian University as a part of their graduate professional counseling program. Drew is passionate at developing clinicians as well as offering coaching for clinical leadership roles. Drew has extensive experience in clinical leadership having served as a clinical manager, program director, regional director, clinical director, vice president, chief operating officer, and chief executive officer for substance use and mental health counseling programs.
